Looking at the website alone, the article was right; it’s really hard to take it and any of its contents seriously. After all, who in the right mind would tell people how to get by college without much money?
Oh yeah, Right, those who are not clinically sane. Students, whether poor or rich, can always opt for scholarship programs, whether it be funded by the government, a private human, a politician, or the school itself, although school-funded scholarships tend to be more hectic and have higher standards, they do give some useful benefits to their scholars plus they can take in the scholar into the institution’s teaching staff or as their employee after they graduate. Aside from that, Hobo literally means someone who is not capable of supporting himself. Some people tend to confuse them with homeless bums, which more or less are actually quite the same as Hobos, although these Hobos can actually do something productive with themselves rather than choose to be street beggars and sleep on the street, wandering about searching for another sleeping spot. And third, you must never take, and I mean never, take the comments and articles in this website seriously. Come on, free haircuts? Who gets that nowadays? Only if you have perks and friends on the inside do you get to have free stuff without even doing much, and it’s really hard to attain that kind of relationship with someone wherein they will trust you and give you free stuff so that you will be able to spend less for yourself. And although beer is part of any celebration, especially during your college years, it’s not really necessary for you to opt to drink or buy yourself a drink. If you have no money, then go home. All in all, this website is somehow pointless, however, it does get a few thumbs up for entertainment and humor.
